Pachamama, aka “Mother Earth” is a goddess revered by the indigenous people of the Andes. She is also known as the earth/time mother. In Inca mythology, Pachamama is a fertility goddess who presides over planting and harvesting, embodies the mountains, and causes earthquakes. (as defined by wikipedia)

At Pachamama Culinary, we honor Pachamama by supporting conscious eating habits while practicing sustainable practices that give back to the earth. It is said in Mythology that if we do not treat our mother earth, Pachamama with respect then she will punish us with earthquakes and natural disasters, sounds a little like our global warming situation to me?

It is our goal to honor where our food comes from and is how it is created so we can reap the benefits of the life fulfilling energy that it provides. By choosing to practice sustainability we can benefit our earths resources and together we can protect our Pachamama.
